Automated Insights’ Operations team is dedicated to providing a positive, helpful, and welcoming experience to everyone who enters Ai, from our employees to customers, partners, guests, and vendors. We strive to remove barriers and provide the tools and support to help Ai-ers achieve great things.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a team player with a strong desire to keep employees happy, laughing, and thriving. As the People Operations Manager, you will be part of our larger Operations tribe, which includes our COO, VP of Finance, Office Manager and part-time Recruiters.  Additionally, you will interface with Vista Equity Partners, the owner of Automated Insights, to work with their HR team for implementing best practices and, leveraging their resources as applicable.

  • Act as key Human Resource point of contact, trusted advisor, and business partner to a highly engaged, supported workforce
  • Prioritize, define, develop and roll-out scalable HR plans and solutions addressing the needs of our company
  • Own and promote our company culture by developing programs that reinforce Ai’s values
  • Implement thoughtful, scalable processes in the areas of onboarding, offboarding, engagement and general HR compliance
  • Support employee development and relations by frequently gathering feedback, generating reports, and conducting analysis to provide data-driven recommendations to improve our employees’ work experience
  • Maintain performance management programs, working with leadership, to set goals, promote individual development, and conduct performance reviews
  • Help bring employee concerns and complaints to rapid resolution
  • Manage our interview process to ensure thorough, non-redundant and seamless interviews
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant employment laws
  • Serve as point person for benefits questions and changes

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL SET

  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Superior knowledge of the HR function & processes
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: HR practices, compensation structure, performance assessment and management, training, HR Strategy, Talent Acquisition & Strategy
  • Experience leading current/future state roadmapping or facilitating meetings
  • 3-5 years of experience recruiting for software engineers / data scientists preferred
  • Experience leading the vendor selection process including scoring and evaluating products and services
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Experience with enterprise-level payroll systems
  • Ability to problem solve, anticipate, and overcome roadblocks as we scale
  • Tech savvy: you have serious Excel skills, know your way around the entire Microsoft Office Suite, and are a pro at using Google collaboration tools. You are also a sophisticated user of software applications to streamline the recruiting, onboarding, and benefits management process (including PayChex, Zenefits, PayScale, and Validity)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, HRMP, HRCI a bonus
